Desenvolvimento e validação de um instrumento tecnológico para assistência preventiva ao câncer de próstata
Resumen
There is a notable deficit of human resources and professional training for Men's Health Care in the country, especially for the prevention of prostate cancer (PCa), with technologies being an aid in maintaining care. The objective of the study was to develop and validate a technological instrument related to preventive care in Men's Health, with an emphasis on PCa. Thus, a prototype of screens was developed, and for validation, 08 evaluators were selected who evaluated 12 aspects of the content, according to the Content Validity Index (CVI), with CVI ≥ 0.78 for items and global CVI ≥ 0.80 being validated. 18 screens were developed, which allow the identification, registration and evaluation of individuals with signs and symptoms or risk factors for PCa. In the validation, the items “language” and “contributions to clinical reasoning” were invalidated, CVI < 0.78, and the items “content”, “nomenclature used”, “sequence of information”, “font size”, “colors”, “overview”, “understanding of content”, “understanding of use”, “graphical representations”, “questionnaire format”, were validated, CVI ≥ 0.78. Furthermore, the instrument obtained an overall CVI ≥ 0.80. Therefore, an instrument capable of assisting in preventive care for PCa was developed, which presented evidence of content validity.
